BriGuyNY: After 10 years of fun around the game board, it’s finally time to put this one away for good.

The final container was hidden at a back corner parking lot for the Hilton Rye Town Hotel. When I placed this, I used to visit regularly for work, and knew a number of people who worked here full time. Unfortunately, due to COVID, the hotel will not be re-opening, and the entire facility is off limits.

To remove the container, I had to sneak in through the woods and cross my fingers that the maintenance trucks were empty. Glad that on a sleepy Sunday afternoon, it was all quiet and I had the area to myself.

All others in this series will remain active; except for South Carolina, which is currently experiencing a similar dilemma. Sad to archive this one, but I don’t expect anyone to occupy this property for a while, so there is no point in trying to keep it alive.

You will need to complete the requirements for the "Corporate Ca$he" Challenge in order to find this final geocache. Please read on...

This cache is part of the "Corporate Ca$he - Monopoly Challenge!", in which information needs to be obtained from every cache container before being able to surmise the coordinates for the final stash. Each cache is located within an area of White Plains that is a cluster of corporate offices for a wide variety of companies. After being relocated from upstate New York to one of these offices in June 2010, I realized that although I am surrounded by corporate America life every weekday, the back woods still burn strong inside of me. As a result, this series combines the two, and is designed to take you on a journey that shows the corporate world in a different light.

So you've made it fully around the board and now it's time to pass GO and collect your $200. At this point in time you've got mansions on Broadway, you have dinner and cocktails with Anne Hutchinson on the weekends, you own every utility/railroad, and your friends are begging you for a job just so they could pay the ridiculous taxes you charge them for owning the remaining 2 properties on Westchester Avenue. Good job! You are a true CEO of White Plains! Time for you to find the stash that has been left for you by your forefathers, but not until you have a lesson on monetary management. Here is a re-cap:
