Arena Plaza Mall, a latest second-generation shopping centre in Hungary, is developed by Plaza Centers. The mall is situated in Józsefváros, the 8th district, near to Keleti railway station, on the site of the former horse racing track on Kerepesi út. It was opened for public in Nov 2007. Everything about the Arena Plaza Mall is magnificent. The size of the mall, the design and the services being offered at the mall are breathtaking. The built up area of Arena Plaza Mall is 180.000 m2. The mall has a circular design, similar to that of the horseracing course found in the olden times. The intricate interior decoration and superb design attracts many visitors and tourists. The new-generation mall houses almost 200 retail units on two levels with a gross area of 65.000 m2. Another floor is given over to a 22-screen Cinema City multiplex movie theatre incorporating Hungary's first IMAX cinema, which offers a three-dimensional viewing experience. The mall houses a hypermarket spanning in an area of 10.000 m2, a huge fashion departmental shop, and electronic store. The food court on the ground floor and several catering services on the two floors satiate the taste buds of the visitors. A two-level underground customer car park providea space for more than 2.800 cars. Visitors are also able to relax in the landscaped area linking the building of the Arena Plaza to Kerepesi út. Az Arena Plaza kínálatát a 10.000 m2-es Tesco hipermarket, a 65.000 m2-en található közel 200 kiskereskedelmi egység, éttermek, kávézók, és szélesköru szolgáltatások gazdagítják. A komplexumban külön szinten került kialakításra a nagy területu szórakoztató központ egy 22 termes Cinema City multiplex mozival és Magyarország elso, három-dimenziós élményt nyújtó IMAX mozijával. A vásárlói parkolók az épület alatti kétszintes mélygarázsban lesznek több mint 2.800 autó részére. A „vásárlóbarát" szempontok alapján kialakított központ tágas belso terei és ovális forma-világa visszaidézi a korábbi lóversenypálya hangulatát. Az Arena Plaza épületét egybefüggo parkosított terület köti össze a Kerepesi úttal, mely kikapcsolódási lehetoséget kínál a látogatók számára.
