hidden in a park in danbury ct. allow at least an hour and a half. Bring water to drink.
Found this spot in early spring when I heard what sounded like a flock of crows in the woods to the side of the trail. Was surprised to find a body of water, and hundreds of croaking frogs. The cache can be reached by taking the orange trail from the park parking lot. When the orange trail splits, take the trail that goes up hill. Cache is 120 feet from the orange trail, and about 20 feet from water. Be aware of your surroundings, as the park is large and it is possible to get lost. Good idea to mark trail before leaving it. Hiking boots are recommended.
