Geocache Description:

CAUTION: Please be aware that during certain times of the year, there is Wild Turkey hunting (Spring) and Deer Hunting (Fall) taking place on the Acton Tract. There is a sign at the parking (posted coords) with all of the information. During hunting season it is advised to wear blaze orange while in the Acton Tract. Use common sense and play safe.

What would happen if every BFL on Earth suddenly stopped working? What if all light both natural and artificial would suddenly be turned off...permanently! What if we lived in a world where there was no light? All around us there would be total darkness. No light, no colours, and no needs for us to have eyes. Would our other four senses become more enhanced to compensate? This is your chance to experience Life After BFL.

The posted coordinates will take you to the parking lot of the Acton Tract. Here you will find several signs. You are looking for the small one that says "Acton Tract" in the first line. Take all of the numbers from this sign and assign them a letter. Ie the first digit on the sign is A (=2), the 2nd digit is B and so on up to the letter M (=1). There are 13 numerical digits in total on this sign. From the posted coordinates, project a distance of H0D meters at a bearing of EB6° True North.

As you start your walk down the trail from the parking area (or you can take the easier route) and head right along the lesser defined trail, you turn off all your lights, you close your eyes (no peeking!) and head towards this geocache. You take each step carefully in a world of darkness, perhaps with your hands out in front of you to help maneuver around objects you may encounter. You listen carefully to the world around you and listen even closer to the beeps of your GPS. You use your inner senses to walk the distance in total darkness to a cache you have never seen before. How did you do walking in the dark with your eyes shut? Once you arrive, you ponder in puzzlement and wonder what to do next as you try and figure it all out. Be gentle and careful. Don't break anything. If you break the stick, put another one in it's place...there's lots lying on the ground around you. Watch where you put your feet. Also, make sure you read the signs at the parking lot about hunting season and pay attention to the hunter platforms up in trees.

No tools or special equipment needed, which includes artificial light sources, since after all this is Life After BFL.

<disclaimer: No BFLs were harmed in the placing of this cache.>

If you plan on finding "BFL Boot Camp V :: Tachyonic Antitelephone", then you will find the necessary code near the top of the log sheet and also mactacked to one of the containers.
