[LAT] Virsaišu udenskritums atrodas Talsu novada netalu no Virsaišu majam. Tas izveidojies Virbupes laba krasta nelielas pietekas - strauta gultne par augšdevona dolomita iežiem. Udenskritums ir 1.7 m augsts, un ipaši izteiksmigs tas pavasaros un rudenos, kad ta platums sasniedz 4 metrus. Udenskritumu 1998. gada atklajis geografs Ivars Strautnieks. Kopš 2001 gada tam ir valsts aizsargajama geologiska un geomorfologiska dabas pieminekla statuss. Latvijas Petroglifu centrs, popularizejot geologiju un geologiskos dabas piemineklus, Virsaišu udenskritumu nomineja par 2010. gada geologisko objektu.
[ENG] The Waterfall Virsaisi is located in Talsi region near the Virsaiši home. It has formed at the right bank of River Virbupe watercourse - over the dolomite rock of Devonian era.The waterfall is 1.7 m high. It is particularly impressive in the sping and autum when it reaches 4 meters in width. In 1998 the waterfall was discovered by the geographer Ivars Strautnieks. Since 2001 it has a status of state protected geological and geomorphological monument. Latvian center of Petroglyph promoting the geology and geological natural monuments nominated the Waterfall Virsaiši as the object of geology of 2010.
