[LV] Slampes lidlauks- vieta, no kurienes pacelas Padomju savieniba plaši izmantotas Antonov AN-2 "Kukuruznik" lidmašinas, kas tika izmantotas Slampes Padomju Saimniecibas (SOVHOZa) labibas lauku miglošanai ar pesticidiem.
[ENG] Slampe airfield- a place, where took off the well known aircraft in the Soviet union- the Antonov AN-2 "Kukuruznik", which were widely used for spraying pesticides on crop fields of Slampe Soviet farm (SOVHOZ).
[LV] Slepnis atrodas pie udenstorna, kas atrodas netalu no Slampes lidlauka. Udenstornis agrak tika izmantots udens spiediena nodrošinašanai lauksaimniecibas vajadzibam. Pats lidlauks atrodams nedaudz talak- ir iedotas reference point koordinatas. Jau vairakus gadus lidlauks tiek izmantots dabiga meslojuma uzglabašanai.
Slampes Padomju saimnieciba bija viena no lielakajam visa Latvijas PSR. Ta ražoja labibu, lopbaribu, galu un olas gan vietejam paterinam, gan eksportam uz citam PSRS valstim. Slampes putnu ferma saražota apjoma zina bija otraja vieta LPSR, vislielakais ražošanas apjoms bija Iecavas putnu fermai.
Apmeklejot šo slepni, jus varat izbaudit tipisko Zemgales regiona lauku ainavu ar pauguriem un lidzenumiem.
Slepnis ir 35mm filmas konteineris, satur logbook un mantinu apmainai. Lai tiktu pie slepna, nav nekur jakapj augša, bet drizak jaskatas zem kajam.
[ENG] This cache is located next to the water tower, which is nearby to the Slampe airfield. The tower was used to provide a constant water pressure for farming needs. The airfield itself is a bit further away and can be found under the reference point coordinates. At the moment it is being used for storage of natural fertilizer for the crop fields.
Slampe Soviet farm was among the largest farms of such type in all Latvian SSR. It produced crop, cattle food, meat and eggs for local use and export to other countries of USSR. Slampe bird farm took the second place in Latvian SSR according to the count of eggs produced daily. The largest bird farm of that time was located in Iecava.
When visiting this cache, you can enjoy the typical landscape of Zemgale region with all it's hills and flat fields.
Cache is a 35mm film canister, containing logbook and item for trade. To reach the cache you don't have to climb up, but rather watch your step.
