PETROGLIFOS
DA LAXE
Caché situado en la parroquia de Sárdoma, en la ciudad de Vigo.
Concretamente se ubica en el barrio de "A Laxe" y los grabados se realizaron en una gran roca granítica de grano medio, que mide unos 15 metros por 12 metros, aproximadamente. De esta piedra ya se conocían varios grabados prehistóricos que nos ofrecían algunos motivos geométricos.
Pero fue a raíz de unos trabajos de limpieza y excavación que llevamos a cabo en esta estación de arte rupestre, desde el Departamento de Prehistoria y Arqueología del museo municipal "Quiñones de León", en 1994, cuando pudimos comprobar la existencia de varios grabados más de tiempos prehistóricos y otros más numerosos ya de épocas históricas. De los primeros se analizaron nuevos motivos geométricos muy simples y dos alabardas. Con respecto a los segundos, decir que en su mayoría correspondían a cruciformes de distintas tipologías.
Con respecto a la representación de armas encontradas y que hoy son objeto de este comentario, podemos apuntar que se trata de dos alabardas con indicación de su mástil o palo en el que iban enmangadas bien reflejado. Una de ellas, la que se aprecia mejor y está en la parte alta, presenta la indicación del nervio central, pero la otra, vemos que posee una hoja lisa.
La localización de estas representaciones de armas en las estaciones de arte rupestres, es muy importante, pues son estos motivos, sin lugar a duda, los que nos pueden estar dando una cronología muy concreta de los grabados en que aparecen, pues están mostrando tipos de armas bien datadas por las excavaciones arqueológicas, en las que han aparecido estas piezas. La cronología que tenemos para ellas son de unos 4.000 años, aproximadamente.
Como comentamos esta la fecha, estas dos alabardas del petroglifo de "A Laxe" de Sárdoma, son las únicas representaciones de armas encontradas dentro del término municipal de Vigo.
EL CACHE

Este cache esta en una zona bastante concurrida de gente, ser cuidadosos y prestar atención a las viviendas cercanas y al semáforo de la carretera ya que suelen haber varios vehículos detenidos, espero que os guste.

Cache is located in the parish of Sárdoma, in the city of Vigo.

One of them, which is best appreciated and is at the top presents an indication of the central nerve, but the other, we see that has a smooth blade.
The location of these representations of weapons at rock art sites, it is very important because these reasons are, without doubt, that we may be making a very specific timing of the engravings in which they appear, as they are showing rates weapons rather dated by archaeological excavations, which have appeared in these parts. The timeline we have for they are about 4000 years or so.
As we discussed this date, these two halberds of petroglyph "A Laxe" in Sárdoma, are the only representations of weapons found within the city of Vigo.
