Geocache Description:

Hidden in the You Yangs at the site if the Geoglyph Bunjil. A 1L SIstema container camoed to suit the surroundings a pleasant 15min stroll from the parking area.
The cache was placed here with permission from todays Duty Ranger Stewie.

Had seen this when walking to the summit and were surprised to come across when looking for another cache, as it is not signposted. The Andrew Rogers sculpture was completed March 3 2006. It is a tribute to the Creator Spirit Bunjil and to the local Aboriginal people. The granite and sandstone scuplture represents a soaring wedge-tailed eagle.

While in the area visit Trinity of Toynes by Team mcca a 10 minute walk away.

The park opens at 8am daily and there is no vehicle access after 4.30pm (though it looks like this is extended to 6.00pm Day Light Saving Time?)
Follow the Great Circle Drive clockwise- note it becomes a one way road.
Parking is available at S 37 57.288 E144 26.726. Please do not obstruct Emergency Vehicle Access when parking.
The cache is an easy 15minute stroll along a track.

There are numerous picnic tables and wood BBQs at the park. Bring the family and make a day of it. Dogs are welcome but need to be on a lead. Rubbish should be taken home.

Please respect the area and the wildlife.

There is a Bison Tube in the cache for the FTF.
