Geocache Description:

Trista74 1,000 finds tribute!!!

Time for the long overdue Tribute to Trista74 finding 1,000 caches! Seek traditional tribute cache.

Trista74 found their first cache on May 16, 2009. Just two and a half months later, they hit 100. And they haven't looked back!

They found their 1000th cache (Challenge of a Century: Streak) on January 31, 2010, making this only 9 months late :)

In the time it's taken to get this tribute setup, they found their 2000th cache (Minnesota Challenge: 100 caches, 1 day) on May 20, 2010, just over a year from their first find! Wow, that was a fast 1000 finds, but their fastest 1000 finds was actually just 75 days!!!They also just managed their 3000th find (Big Boy Toy Land on September 12, 2010. That's 3 big milestones just this year, and they might even hit 4000 this year yet!

These two are no slackers when it comes to caching. They've completed the GeoTriad, been to 2 MEGA events, 8 cache types in one day, Mingo (the oldest remaining active cache, 7th ever placed!),and have found caches in 19 states!!

They've also completed the A Cache A Day ... for 365 Days?challenge on September 25, 2010, and hosting an event to honor the occasion.

I've even been lucky enough to go with them on several caching trips, and it's always a great time being around them! So let's take a moment to congratulate Trista74 on 1000+ finds (and 2000+ finds, and 3000+ finds...)
