This cache is located on the only volcanic crater on fuerteventura, that is intact.
The way to the cache is a little hard and you need good shoes. no flip-flops or so.
Also you need enough water or the like to drink.
You need minimum two hours for this cache. But it is a nice place with a lot of chipmunks.
Add this hints on 2nd may 2011:
--> Please be careful on windy days! <--
--> When you get the wrong way rise the terrain rating minimum to 4. <--
Additional hints from rjskib when you start from Corralejo:
If the beginning is in Corralejo start here: N 28 43.841 W 013 52.673 and go to
N 28 43.676 W 013 53.082 and you will be on the right path directly to the volcano.
Remember plenty of water, we walked 18 km before we were back after 4 hours and 10 minutes.
