Geocache Description:

A series of caches placed in the beautiful Stockgrove Country Park.

The parks sits along the greensand ridge that runs from Cambridgeshire to Befordshire and Buckinghamshire. It is possible to walk the ridge for 40 miles from Gamlinghay to Leighton Buzzard.

Stockgrove Country Park is a large area made up of Stockgrove Country Park (80 acres), Oak Wood (100 acres) and Rannamere Heath & Kings Wood The site comprises a variety of different woodlands and habitats. There are areas which are triple SSI's and areas which are sensitive to humn traffic.

These caches provide a nice circular walk taking in some of the features on offer around the area. This is a very popular spot so the challenge is going to be in being covert when you search for these simple caches. All the caches have been placed with permission and approved by the local rangers. I hope you will forgive my choice of container at some of these areas. Obviously I needed to balance the cache with the impact on the flora and fauna I hope you will understand.

This cache is a 35mm film container. Not camouflaged or sneakily concealed.
