The first stage of the cache is located in a Moravian cemetery where you can find clues to give you the coordinates of the second stage. Most cemeteries are arranged in family plots. Moravian cemeteries are arranged with single men, single women, married men, and married women in separate sections, spreading out from a central point in order of the date of death. This may help you to find the clues.
The main coordinates will lead you to grave #1. The following clues will fill in the blanks in the coordinates to the second stage: N 36º 0 _ . _ _ _’ W 080 º _ _ . _ _ _’
Find the “First Doctor”. Where was he the first doctor? (It’s on the stone.) Fill the first blank with the number of letters in the location name. Fill the second blank with the last digit in the year of his death. Fill the third blank with the number of the grave.
Find grave # 27, Mr. Dixon, who died in 1764. Fill the fourth blank with the number of letters in his first name.
Find Anna Maria Krause, (between a cedar and a small obelisk), who died in 1863. Fill the fifth through eighth blanks with the year she was born.
Find grave # 1. Fill in the last blank with the number of letters in her middle name.
There are lots of deep holes in the woods caused by tree stumps that have rotted away. Bring a hiking stick and wear sturdy hiking boots so you don't turn your ankle. Walk slowly and watch your step. While you're watching your step, don't get poked in the eye by a twig.
