This cache has it all! A nice view of a treefern-dotted glen and a
suburb in the distance, a babbling brook, and a physical challenge
to get to!
This is a pleasant 13km return walk. I managed to visit this cache
site without a rope, but I'm quite scratched for my troubles :) You
may get by without a rope if you are a bit of a monkey like me (I'd
grade the climb at about 17 or 18, australian rock climbing
scale)... but if you have 20 or 30 metres of rope, it will be
handy. If you have abseiling and prusiking gear, this is a walk in
the park. Take a friend on this one.
The container is a Peters icecream container (lite!). When
placed, it contained:
- 3x CDRs
- 2 x luminous lizard ceiling decorators
- A spud gun (yeah! go for it!)
- A 35 piece jigsaw puzzle
- A bug-in-a-walnut toy
- About 5 x satchets of Kool-Aid (powdered drink, which I brought
all the way from the States!)
Addendum: ThomasS visited this cache, and kindly left a
Canberra keyring inderneath the cache site, for anyone who for
whatever reason is unable to get to the actual cache.
