There is an easy and a hard way to the cache. Use the pull off to the south for the easy way. Park along the highway - not recommended - for a shorter and tougher bushwack to the cache from the north.
This cache is at the posted coordinates. The difficulty is due to the requirement that you find 30 caches to get here. The challenge isn't so much a matter of finding the cache as it is in finding at least 30 caches along Highway 30. The caches need to be found along - right along or within sight or sound of Highway 30. Highway 30/395 or 30/84 or any combination highway doesn't count. It must be just plain old Highway 30. Like many highways today it is blended into or run over by others. Highway 30 used to stretch, by itself, from coast to coast so any stretch of the highway will be fine.
You will need to post a bookmark listing the 30 caches verifying that you have indeed found 30 on 30. Please leave it posted for - 30 days. You don't need any kind of approval before heading out to find the cache just be sure the bookmark is posted.
When you have found the 30+ caches doesn't matter. However, we have some pretty active cachers along Oregon Highway 30 so if you haven't been out this way in a while there are lots of new finds for your caching pleasure.
The walk to the cache provides another nice view of the countryside and is plenty wide but there is a steep edge so please be careful if you cache with children. Also, I wouldn't recomend trying this at night.
Mostly, just have fun finding it and finding some new caches as you explore the area along the highway.
