Conveniently located in the Thomas Edison Service Area at milepost 92.9 (between Interchanges 12 and 11) of the Southbound New Jersey Turnpike, this cache provides a park 'n grab for stretching your legs and observing nature in New Jersey. This cache is NOT accessible from the Northbound side of the NJ Turnpike.
Alternate local access is available via the employee parking lot at the south end of a service road off Port Reading Avenue at 6th Avenue.
While you are grabbing the cache, take some time to observe and learn about the birds and other wildlife that make their home in the salt marsh next to the NJ Turnpike.
The cache has been muggled in the past, so please don't leave any geocoins or other trackables. Bring your own pen or pencil. This is a very busy area 24/7 so please be discrete and rehide the cache exactly where found.
