[LAT] Jaunciema dabas liegums sakotneji dibinats 1993. gada 320,7 ha platiba. Ta pašreizejo statusu nosaka Latvijas Republikas Ministru kabineta 1999. gada 15. junija „Noteikumi par dabas liegumiem” . Liegums atrodas Rigas pilsetas Ziemelu rajona un Vidzemes priekšpilseta Kišezera austrumu piekraste. No lieguma kopejas platibas Ziemelu rajona atrodas 101,1 ha, bet Vidzemes priekšpilseta 210,6 ha.
Lieguma teritoriju aiznem Kišezera krasta zemas plavas, kas talak no ezera pariet vairak vai mazak ar kokiem un krumiem apaugušas kapas. Lieguma teritorijai raksturiga liela reljefa formu un biotopu daudzveidiba. Te atrodamas sausienu un palienu plavas, krumaji, udensaugu audzes ezera piekraste, ari nelielas kokaudzes.
Lieguma daudz vecu, ainaviski izcilu koku, 12 no tiem registreti ka Rigas pilsetas nozimes dižkoki.

[ENG] Jaunciema nature reserve was originally established in 1993. was 320.7 ha. Since the current status of the Latvian Cabinet 1999th On the 15th June "Regulations on nature reserves."
