This should be somewhat easy 2 mile hike- If you go with the loop and Grab Werewolves Become Dogs. Most of the caches on this caching loop are set up to avoid large bushy patches of Poison ivy. If the trail is dry, one might consider these a lunchtime cache series- Although you do have to cross a muddy stream at one point. Note some people find these coodinates helpful N 42° 12.595 W 087° 51.455. Others like the new coordinates
In the early 1970s, the Lake County Forest Preserve District moved to save 150 acres of land north of Old Mill Road. Additional land was purchased between 1976 and 1979 to total 435 acres.
The cache is located in Prairie Wolf Dog Exercise Area is one of four designated off-leash dog areas within the Lake County Forest Preserves. The 44-acre area is entirely fenced and features large fields, a swimming pond, trails, drinking fountain and training enclosures.
A permit is required to access this Dog Exercise Area. Annual or daily permits are available. The annual permit allows access to all four Lake County Forest Preserve Dog Exercise Areas. Daily permits can be purchased at a self-pay station located in the parking lot at each Dog Exercise Area
The cache area should stay dry but boots may be helpful if it has rained recently. Note, the ticket/fine for parking without paying can be $75.00- Fill in the envelope and leave your money ($5.00 for residents of Lake County and $10.00 for others-Pay Envelopes are in a metal box next to the entrance). The area is often patrolled-espeically on weekends-probably less so on weekdays.

The cache can not really hold much- it is painted preform.
