Geocache Description:

Camo'd matchstick container just off the road. Highway and railroad tracks nearby, so keep an eye on the kiddies. Log only, BYOP. Park in one of the roadside pullouts, or across the highway at Mann Park.

This cache is placed near where a Gilman institution once stood, the Dutch Mill Supper Club. Whenever I visit my hometown I always enjoy driving around to see what is new, but even more so I like to see what hasn't changed.

Unfortunately, the restaurant and its iconic sign that always let you know you were in Gilman are long gone, but I will never drive this stretch of road without thinking of the old Dutch Mill.

Before my time, there was an actual windmill here. I hear there may be some old pictures floating around. If any local cachers have one, it'd be great to see on your post.
