În penitenciarul Poarta Alba se afla în acest moment în detentie aproximativ 2500-2700 de detinuti. Penitenciarul are si o anexa externa, cea de la Valul Traian în care sunt aproximativ 400 de detinuti. In penitenciarul Valea Seaca detinutii sunt organizati în 3 regimuri: închis, semideschis si deschis, spre diferenta de penitenciarul Poarta Alba unde mai este si regimul de maxima siguranta. De asemenea în penitenciarul Valea Seaca sunt privati de libertate doar persoanele de sex masculin adulti, iar la Poarta Alba sunt împartiti pe 3 sectii: o sectie pentru barbatii adulti, una pentru femeile adulte si cea de-a treia sectie pentru minori.

In the White Gate prison, currently are in detention around 2500-2700 detainees . The prison has an external annex, at Valu lui Traian where there are about 400 detainees. In Dry Valley penitentiary inmates are organized into three regimes: closed, semi open and, unlike the White Gate prison where the is also the maximum security.
Also in the Dry Valley prison, are deprived of their liberty only adult male persons and at White Gate are divided into three sections: a section for adult males, adult females and the third ward for minors.
