A good sized cache on Blackford Hill.
Although not huge, this cache is the biggest container we can easily get our hands on. In its previous life it held two dozen hard boiled eggs, so there's now plenty of room for swaps.
Blackford Hill (164 m) is a hill in the south of Edinburgh, near Morningside, and the Braid Hills.
The hill enjoys a clear view over Edinburgh, Edinburgh Castle, and Arthur's Seat to the North. In the south you can also clearly see the Pentland Hills and the Hillend Ski Centre.
The Royal Observatory, Edinburgh is built near the summit.
This cache is set far enough off the beaten path to deter muggles. We recommend long sleeves and possibly gloves. Probably not the best cache for kids (though they'd find it easier to get in and find it!)
Well done tele420 FTF!
