Cache is at the foot of a tree under a small rock behind a larger one. This cache is not in a marshy but off to the side where the woods are. Some bushwhacking required.
Leave the Siwanoy Trail path when you see a tree with an orange band tied around it. The cache is about 20 ft. in and slightly down in elevation. Look for the base of a young tree with some rocks around it.
The cache is a clear plastic container with a $1, a pencil, a log in a ziplock bag.
Siwanoy Trail caches, #1, #2, #3, #4 are all within a .25 mile of each other right off the clearly marked Siwanoy Trail. There is some thick underbrush and one has to walk over some wet marsh-grass to get to the specific spots.
If you're driving, the best places to park would be the Pelham Golf course parking lot across Shore Road or the Bartow-Pell mansion parking lot which is small.
