A delightful frog-themed cache right by a frog-catching pond! The wide path is mostly level with minimal elevation changes. The cache is hidden within a few steps of the trail. Mountain bikers share this trail, so beware of muggles! In the summer, look for bunches of 4" frogs just basking at the surface of the green pond.
This is an easy walk from the southern-most trailhead. Parking is just south of the Hutchinson Parkway Mamaroneck Ave. South exit. This cache is close to the pond and just a few steps off of the trail. If you cross the bridge, you've gone too far. This is a lock 'n' lock full of frog-themed items. Beginning contents include Webkinz Surfing Frog, frog freezer pack, frog pencil case with green pens, frog trackable coin, glow-in-the-dark frog, full bag of sticky frogs, frog pencil sharpener, frog eraser and green log book with, of course, green pen.
