Geocache Description:

Das alte Zollhaus.

1933...zollner wohnungen und dienststelle von der Deutsche Zoll bis 50 er jahren.
Jetzt teil ferienwohnung und eigentum von Niederländishes ehepaar.

Immer willkommen zu besuchen !

In 1933 they started to build housing for custom officers.
They where all build in the style of the surrounding area.
In these days housing for this people was a big problem.
On one side they wanted to have more people checking in and out going traffic and on the other side they had no home's for them.
Most building are private property now .
The building that you will see after you have found my cache and filled in the log(please)
has been turned into a holiday home in 2008.(owned by a Dutch couple).
In this building you will find 3 seperate houses.
In the basement of one of them there is a small prisoncell.
The custom office also had police work in those days .
In the garden of this house you can still find the old office..one part was used for office and the other part for housing of the guard dogs(German sheppards).
