So far as I can tell, this is the first Geocache in the channel islands. I hope that there are some channel islanders with GPS units who will go and look for it!
It was placed by myself and a local friend during a recent visit to Guernsey.
It is packaged in a clear tupperware container, obviously labled with a black magic marker, and easily accessible, but will not be seen by the casual passer-by.
It contains, as well as a log book, pen, and instruction sheet, various goodies which you will have to find to discover, but for which I will provide a few hints:
- There is one item which is in very bad taste
- There is one item which is malodourous
- There is one item which might help you if you're lost
- There is one item which might ease your travels
- There are two items which can help you communicate
- There is one item for predicting the future
