Visite à Fabas
Alphonse de Poitiers transforme en 1268 cette commune de l'estrême nord-ouest du Bourjac, en bastide, ce à partir d'un oppidum où s'élève l'église Saint-Georges, curieux édifice néo-roman du XIXème avec des sculptures, oeuvres du même artiste local qui réalisa celles de Saint-Ferreol.
A signaler le château dont la porte et une partie des murailles sont encore visibles près du presbytère.

Discover Fabas!!
In 1268 Alphonse de Poitiers created a bastide here in the extreme north west of Bourjac. The church of Saint-Georges, a curious neo-roman building from the 19th century, contains works from a local artist whose works can also be seen at Saint-Ferreol.
The door and some of the walls of the chateau can still be seen next to the presbytery.
