Spaleny vrch - the very summit (1013 m a.s.l.), spruce forest with difficult access. According to a folk tale, the forest around the hill use to be full of snakes. The attempts to extinguish the snakes were unsuccessful until the major of the Srni village ordered to burn the forest. Since these very early times of the human presence in the region, however, forests revegetated the hill again (and assumably some snakes returned though not in such a multitude as previously).
