Geocache Description:

We have Motorway Mayhem. We have A-Road Anarchy, but what about public transport users? SideTracked Caches are intended to provide quick Cache-and-dashes at Train Stations.

Bath Spa station was built in 1840 for the Great Western Railway by Isambard Kingdom Brunel, who also designed the Clifton Suspension Bridge and the SS Great Britain which are both in nearby Bristol. The station building itself is a grade II listed building. Since the closure of the Green Park station in 1966, this is the main train station for the City of Bath.

Next to the cache site is the installation of a new cycle docking station. The cycle scheme will have 4 docking stations around the city centre where you can pick up and drop off bikes for casual use - much like the Barclays Cycle Scheme in London.

***Due to the station being upgraded, there's a lot of building work going on around here. The cache is still accessible and should be safe for trackables now***

Please bring a pen or pencil to sign the logbook and place the cache back how you found it :)

FTF goes to Wonx - well done!
