On Top of the World
This is designed as the Ist part of an optional 3 part cache/walks that form a circuit back down to El Barrio Maria Jiminez. (see waypoint note no. 6)
The complete circuit will take about 4 - 5 Hours to complete. (see cache GC2ABMX and also cache GC2AC9H for complete information)
This cache has an appropriate name as there are several bridges to cross and tunnels to pass. So, if you suffer from vertigo or do not like the dark...exercise caution.
Please look at the photos that I have posted to access the risk before you go. However, I suffer from both and have been several times on my own (it is one of my favorite walks)
A good torch will help in the tunnel which is about 50 metres long.
I have given this a 'difficulty rating' of 4 because it is a steep climb up and through the thorns to get to the Canal...the rest is quite easy going .
