'Cantos Blancos' usage inside and outside
The so called 'Cantos Blancos' are white tuff stones, heavily used and well known on the whole island for construction of houses, walls and even decoration of the interior of houses. There is only one single place ( cantos blancos del sur ) on the island, where mining of the tuff takes place and being at the place, one can foresee, that in a couple of years the mine will have to be closed. This multicache will bring you to a small quarter near Granadilla, called Las Palomas, where most of the houses are built from 'Cantos Blancos' .
To start enter the small road at the above coordinates and find your way to the different waypoints. You may use the car but I recommend to walk, so you will be able to enjoy the little houses and the area. The cache itself is not placed at a spectacular place - the path is the target....
By the way... I made the waypoints as 'street view' unfriendly as possible.

Los 'Cantos Blancos' son piedras de tosca, mucho usado y conocido en toda la isla, para la construcción de casas y paredes incluso decoración del interior de casas. En toda la isla solamente hay un lugar ( cantos blancos del sur ), donde se esta extrayendo la tosca y siendo al lugar, se nota que en unos años la mina va a ser cerrada. Este multicache va a traerte a un cuarto pequeño cerca de Granadilla con nombre Las Palomas, donde la mayoría de las casas son construidas de 'Cantos Blancos'.
Por empezar entres a la pequeña calle cerca de las coordenadas de arriba y encuentres tu ruta a los waypoints diferentes. Puedas usar el coche pero recomiendo pasear. Así disfrutarás más de las casitas y el lugar. El cache mismo no se encuentra en un lugar espectacular - la ruta es el destino.....
A propósito.... Hize los waypoints así poco 'street view' agradable que posible.

Die sogenannten 'Cantos Blancos' sind weiße Tuffsteine, die auf der ganzen Insel bekannt sind und zum Bau von Häusern, Mauern und zur Dekoration des Inneren von Häusern benutzt werden. Es gibt nur eine einzige Stelle ( cantos blancos del sur ) auf der Insel, wo der Tuffstein abgebaut wird, und wenn man dort hinkommt, kann man absehen, daß in einigen Jahren damit Schluß sein wird. Dieser Multicache bringt Dich in ein kleines Viertel in der Nähe von Granadilla mit Namen Las Palomas, in dem die meisten Häuser aus 'Cantos Blancos' bestehen.
Zum Start fährst Du in die kleine Straße, die bei den obigen Koordinaten beginnt und findest Deinen Weg zu den verschiedenen Waypoints. Du kannst fahren, aber ich empfehle einen Spaziergang, damit Du die Häuser und die Gegend besser genießen kannst. Der Cache selbst ist nicht an einem spektakulären Platz plaziert - der Weg ist das Ziel......
