goldpot: Sadly, I have to archive this multi cache as it constantly goes missing.

Hopefully, someone locally can place a cache nearby to the historic location.

Geocache Description:

10 years to the day that England’s first Geocache was hidden we celebrated the occasion at GZ with a Geocaching event and at the same time we placed this small cache nearby to encourage those who could not attend to visit and maintain our new Geocaching Shrine, the plaque that commemorates that historic event!

This is where it all started when an American cacher, ‘Steve’, planted a Geocache here and called it, appropriately, England’s First! GC4E. The plaque commemorating event was placed here by fellow local Geocachers under guidance of Thames Water Community & Recreation Services in cooperation with Royal Kingston Council Leisure and Culture on it’s 10th anniversary and no doubt will become an attraction in its own right, however, it’s well protected by a healthy crop of stinging nettles, so we asked that when come and visit is to trample them down to keep them at bay!
To find the cache itself; note the date displayed on the plaque - A/B/CDEF

The cache is at;
N51' 23.(A+3)(B-6)(C+1)
W000' 16.(D+5)(E+7)(F+1)
