Flatcoat Walker: I went to check on this one today, to see if the building work has finished, and yes it has, but they have built a very large school building very close to Alex's Garden.

As it would not now be an appropriate place for people to leave the public footpath to reach Alex's plaque, I have reluctantly decided that the only option is to archive the cache.

Geocache Description:

I am doing this ocasional series of simple one stage multi-caches, as I would like to share with you some of the interesting memorials that I have come across, while out walking the Flatcoats in my local area.

Please feel free to add to this series if you wish.

PLEASE DO NOT DRIVE ALONG ANY PRIVATE ROADS TO REACH ANY OF MY CACHES.

ALEX'S GARDEN – I believe that Alex was a pupil at nearby Worth Abbey School who died due to an accident while playing rugby.

There is nowhere easy to park on the main road to the north, so I would suggest parking along Back Lane, at the southeast end of the footpath.
