Geocache Description:

This is a cache that is in memory of my loving father...

Placed on Memorial Day 2010

This cache is in memory of my father who is and always will be my hero!!

My father served in WWII and, was EXTREMELY proud of his service to his beloved United States of America! He was in the Navy and spent most of his time stationed in the South Pacific.

Though out my childhood I was privileged to here many stories of his experiences serving his country. Unfortunately he passed when I was only 14. Over the years I have reflected on how much this great man taught me in such a short time. I can honestly say that every aspect of my current life has been affected by his teachings.

There is 3 key things that I learned from him that govern my life today. 1) Love God. 2) Love my family and 3) Love my country!

Because my father was a family man, and because he loved his country so much this cache is family friendly and started out with several items related to this wonderful country of ours.
