24 – Challenge
Suoriutuakseen haasteesta ei tarvita Jack Baueria, mutta pientä haasteellista pirteyttä kuitenkin.
Haasteena on löytää keskimäärin 4 kätköä tunnissa, eli yhteensä 96 löytöloggausta saman vuorokauden aikana (klo 00:00 – 24:00) eli aikaa on ruhtinaalliset 24 tuntia.
Lisäksi pitää olla vähintään 1000 kätköä logattuna löydetyksi.
Aloittelevan, hiukan harjoitelleen, kätköilijän lienee helpohkoa
saavuttaa ensin mainittu tavoite, mutta jälkimmäinen on hieman vaikeampi . Kokeneella saattaa jälkimmäinen olla saavutettu, mutta ensimmäinen voi ollakin sitten hankalampi, ellei sitä ole jo aiemmin saavutettu - ainakin lähiympäristössä.
Vuosi sitten (24.05.2009) lähdimme Finnfaken kanssa kokeilemaan onnistuuko 104:n (määrätyistä syistä valittu lukumäärä) kätkön löytäminen vuorokaudessa. Onnistuihan se, saldona 106 kätköä, Finnfakella 107, koska itse löysin ensimmäisen jo menomatkalla ennen virallisen ”ajanoton ” alkua. Hauskaa oli ja aikaa jäi liki tunti käyttämättäkin.
Logatessasi tämän kätkön löydetyksi, liitä logiisi pävämäärä, milloin vähintään 96 kätköä on löydetty, lisäämällä vaikkapa kuva omista tilastoista (esim. näin:fakta) tms. tavalla.
Mikäli haluat lähettää tiedot privaatisti maililla, sekin käy. Muut kuin em. ehdot täyttävät löytämisloggaukset joudun poistamaan. Kätköllä käynti on toki mahdollista ilman ehtojenkin täyttymistä, mikäli haluat käydä etsimässä sen huviksesi tai vaihtaa reissareita tms., mutta Found it -logia ei näistä voi kirjata. Löytöloggauksen voit tehdä vasta molempien ehtojen ollessa suoritetut.
Kätkö sijaitsee annetuissa koordinaateissa. Kätköpaikka ei ole sinänsä ihmeellinen, mutta osaltaan hieman aiheeseen sopiva. Laitoinpa purkinkin reilun 24 dm:n korkeuteen Itse loppukätkön D-arvo on varsin helppo ja T-arvo annetun mukainen.

You don’t need Jack Bauer in order to get through this challenge, but a little daring spiritedness will come in handy, though. The challenge is to get at least 96 caches Found it- logged in one day (12 am to midnight), which means that you have as much as 24 hours to collect the caches.
In addition, you have to have at least 1 000 caches logged as found.
It may be relatively easy for a beginner who’s had some practice to reach the first goal, but the second one is a bit trickier. A more advanced cacher may already have reached the latter goal, but the former, unless it has already been reached, can be a whole lot more difficult – at least around one’s immediate surroundings.
A year ago (24th May 2009) Finnfake and I went and tried to find 104 caches (the number having been chosen for set reasons) in one day. We made it as we managed to find 106 caches, and Finnfake 107 because I had already found the first one on our outward journey before we officially started timing. We had lots of fun and ended up using only a bit over 23 hours on the challenge.
As you’re logging this cache as found, add into the log the date when you have found at least 96 caches, for example by attaching a screenshot of your own statistics (e.g. like this: fakt). It is also possible to send the data by private message if you wish to.
Unfortunately I won’t be able to accept loggings done in a different way than those mentioned above. It is of course possible to seek the cache without meeting the prerequisites if you want to find it for the fun of it, or if you e.g. want to swap travel bugs, but you can’t then log it as “Found it”.
The cache is situated at the given coordinates. The place itself is not particularly extraordinary, but, in a way, fits in with the topic of the challenge. I even put the container at the height of at least 24 dm. The D value of the final cache is very easy and the T value is in accordance with the given values.
