HISTORICALLY, a quick C&D had been installed upon Centralia's most significant tourist information center (see some of the older pictures). It pointed the way to one of the key "sights to see" (and also indicated an ironic street name).
Now the tourist information center is laying on its side and has been rolled away from the street corner. But it is still there and can help you make this find. The info center used to indicate that the fire was across the street and that the street to the right was Wood St. Now, only geocachers will know that from reading this cache listing.
There is a fair amount of traffic on this road. Be careful.
