Cache placed in a small cylindrical metal container in a deep crack on Vranj peak in Homolje mountains range. Great view of surrounding peaks and forrests.
884 m high Vranj peak is one of the most attractive scenic views in the Homolje mountains range, so it's a perfect place for a geocache. It can be accessed either from the Trest forest to the north by a mountaineering trail reaching the pass in the middle of the rocky formations (look for the red and white moutaineering markings), or you can approach it from the meadows on the south. The south approach is less demanding as the terrain is much less steep and there are no cliffs, but it can be kind of difficult to find a trail through the growth which has quite a lot of thorns. Routine for experienced hikers and mountaineers.
The cache is placed in a small cylindrical metal container and put in a deep crack on the very top of the Vranj peak (look at the images to determine the exact location). A logbook, a pen and some candy inside.
