E: This cache is hidden on a small hill with a beautiful
view. The place has an interesting rock formation and is an
archaeological site.
P: Esta cache está escondida numa pequena colina com uma
vista muito bonita. Este local é um "site" arqueológico e tem
também uma formação rochosa interessante.
E: This cache is located southeast of the village of Mafra,
making a very nice drive around the this part of the country. There
is an asphalt road about 100m of the cache.
The small hill where the cache is hidden as an interesting terrain
formation known as columnar jointing, where the basalt forms long
hexagonal columns.
Also, this place was inhabited by 2500 BC, and there were several
archaeological excavations here.
The cache is a clear tupperware container marked GEOCACHING.
P: Esta cache situa-se a sudeste de Mafra e a sua procura
permite um passeio muito agradável por esta região "saloia". A
estrada de asfalto passa a cerca de 100m da cache.
A colina onde a chace se encontra tem uma formação geológica
conhecida como Disjunção Colunar, em que o basalto forma longas
colunas de secção exagonal.
Este local foi habitado cerca de 2500 AC e já foram aqui efectuadas
diversas excavações.
