MOSTY KRALOVEDVORSKA - Verdecke kryte mosty
Tato tradicni cache Vas dovede k nadhernemu historickemu krytemu mostu pres reku Labe v obci Verdek. Ve Verdeku jsou kryte mosty dokonce dva. Ac se oba nachazi prakticky primo u hlavni silnice, nejsou moc videt a tim padem nejsou moc zname. Souradnice cache Vas dovedou k hornimu mostu.
Nez napisu neco vice k samotnym mostum, nekolik dulezitych informaci ke cache. Tuto cache jsem umistil trochu sloziteji a nebude lehke se k ni dostat. Tato krabicka je trochu vyzvou a pokud se k Vam k ni nepodari dostat, doufam, ze odmenou Vam bude alespon pekny zazitek z prohlidky Verdeckych zastresenych mostu. Omlouvam se dopredu vsem zklamanym, ale misto same nabizelo adrenalinovou moznost, a vytvoreni obtiznosti cache, kterych v okoli Dvora Kralove moc nemame. Pokud mate trochu odvahy, nebojite se objevovat, je to celkem snadne. Plavky a/nebo sedak s jistenim se hodi. Drzim palce!

SPODNI MOST
"Spodni" kryty most naleznete, pokud se dostanete k odloveni nedaleke cache VODNINY VERDEK. Most se nachazi jen nekolik desitek metru nize po proudu reky od cache. Tento kryty most, ktery je zpristupnen pouze pesim a jednostopym vozidlum. Svuj vyznam most ztratil jiz davno, kdy byla zrusena cesta scelením pozemků pres ktere tudy vedla do obce Filirovice.
Most je asi 20 metru dlouhy, 3 metry siroky a prujezdni profil je do tri metru. Jedna se o drevenou stavbu vesadlove konstrukce, ktera byla pozdeji doplnena vzperadly. Most je cca z roku 1930, posledni rekonstrukce probehla v 90.letech 20. stoleti. Pri pruchodu mostem si vychutnejte nadhernou vuni vceliho vosku, jehoz intenzita se stupnuje spolu se slunnym pocasim a vyssimi teplotami. Optimisticky verim, ze v dnesni chemicke době se opravdu jedna o pravy vosk.
HORNI MOST
Druhou mostni stavbu naleznete nekolik metru po proudu od udanych souradnic. Most lezi takrka v centru vesnice tesne nad verdeckym splavem. Tento most je o neco delsi nez jeho kolega, ale ostatni parametry jsou podobne. Konstrukce je uplne stejna, vesadlova konstrukce pozdeji zesilena vzperadly. Krov má 27 krokvi vzdalenych od sebe jeden metr. Konstrukce je zesilena peti ocelovymi tahly. Bedneni mostu saha az pod okap, na navodni strane jsou v bedneni dve okna s peknym vyhledem na splav. Podlaha mostu je z drevenych tramku narovnanych jeden vedle druheho.
Jiste je, ze tento most je daleko vice vyuzivan i kdyz dnes pouze pro pesi, kola a vsechny, kteri se vejdou mezi dva sloupky na obou stranach mostovky. Donedavna (nekdy v osmdesatych letech) zde mohli projizdet i vozidla do hmotnosti 1,5 t.
Most spojoval Verdek s nedalekou vesnicí Filirovice. Co se historie tyce, prvni zminky o moste pochazej jiz ze 17. stoleti. V roce 1913 byl most zboren a nynejsi podoba pochazi z roku 1938. Posledni rekonstrukce probehla v 90. letech 20. stoleti.
PROC STRECHA?
A proc se vlastne kryte mosty budovaly??? Tech duvodu muze byt cela rada,Urcite strecha slouzila jako ukryt za deste, ale jako nejpravdepodobnejsi se jevi, ze se vlastne jednalo o ochranu drevene konstrukce mostu pred vodou. Strecha odvedla vodu mimo most a drevo zustalo suche a tudiz uchranene pred hnilobou.

This traditional cache will take you towards beautiful historical roofed bridge over the Elbe river in village called Verdek. There are two roofed bridges in Verdek. Though both are situated quite close to the main road, they are hidden and are not very known. The coordinates will lead you to the upper bridge.
Before I will write more about bridges, read few important information concerning the cache itself. I have placed the cache in difficult way and it will not be very easy to get it. This cache is a challenge and if you are not able to reach it, I hope that you will enjoy seeing roofed bridges of Verdek anyway. I apologize in advance to all disappointed, but the place offered adventurous possibility to create more difficult cache, which we miss around Dvur Kralove. If you dare to explore a bit, it is quite easy. Swimming suit and/or seat squab with security line will help. I keep my fingers crossed!

THE LOWER BRIDGE
You will find „lower“ bridge when looking for nearby cache VODNINY VERDEK. Bridge is located about 30 meters downstream from the cache. This roofed bridge is only for pedestrians, bikes and motorcycles. Its importance diminished a long time ago after land consolidation when road to nearby village Filirovice was closed.
The bridge is 20 meters long, 3 meters wide and structure clearance is up to 3 meters. The bridge is wooden, hanging truss construction later improved by strut frame. Current bridge was built in 1930 and reconstructed in 1990´s. When crossing the bridge enjoy beautiful fragrance of honeybee wax, which intensify together with sunny weather and rising temperatures. I optimistically believe that natural wax is used and not some modern chemical.
THE UPPER BRIDGE
Second bridge is located only several meters downstream from cache coordinates, almost in the center of the village, few meters above local weir. This bridge is a bit longer than its „colleague“, but other parameters are almost the same. The bridge is wooden, hanging truss construction later improved by strut frame. There is 27 rafters in the roof construction each one meter apart. The construction is strengthened by five steel draw rods. There are two small windows on downstream side of the bridge with a nice view of weir. The floor of the bridge is from wooden beams stacked one next to other.
It is obvious that this bridge is used more frequently, but only for pedestrians, bikes and motorcycles and other vehicles which fit between two columns on either side of the bridge. Just not long time ago (till 1980´s) cars up to 1,5 tons were allowed to cross the bridge.
The bridge was connecting Verdek with Filirovice. Speaking of history, first known information comes from 17th century. In 1913 the bridge was demolished and current construction is from 1938. Last reconstruction was 1990´s.
WHY ROOF?
Why roofed bridges were built? There might be more reasons. It is sure that the roof served as shelter against rain, but most important reason was to protect the bridge construction from water. The roof drains the water away from the bridge and wood stays dry and protected from decay.
