Geocache Description:

Tubberware style canister behind a stone wall along Trouble Street. Back in the 1950's the property was Arunah Bartlett's farm. Arunah was know to befriend escaped slaves and help them on their way to Canada and freedom.

No dogs please.

A bit of a walk from the below parking cooridinates. Also accessable from Trouble Street, though please respect neighbors..

The below parking is near the trailhead for the Farrington Trail and the start of a loop that will take you to 8 caches. The barn and all trails are part of the Arunah Hill NSC.

The Arunah Hill Natural Science Center is a non-profit dedicated to the study of science and nature. On any given clear night, you might catch astronomers from all over New England enjoying star gazing under dark skies from the top of the hill. Turn off your flashlight and ask, they'll show you wonderful sites in their telescopes!
