Geocache Description:

The cache is a 35mm film pot located at ground level. Sorry, the last few metres around the final location are not accessible to wheelchair cachers.

Recommended parking: N 50° 57.931 E 000° 41.585

UPDATE:
I hadn't realised when I placed this cache that what I thought was a public footpath is in fact a footpath through a private wood. I have therefore relocated the final cache to somewhere more suitable.

The published co-ordinates remain those for the approximate location of the underground hideout of the Iden Patrol Auxiliary Unit.

This is a textbook hideout with a concrete entrance shaft and a long concrete escape tunnel to the river bank. Unfortunately, the main chamber has collapsed in on itself so this would mean that you would have seen the size of the hideout without needing to enter it. The remains of the Ditchling hideout are very similar and that hideout is definitely in an area that may be visited by the public.

You can also gain lots of very interesting information regarding this and other underground hideouts by searching:

In true clandestine style, you will need to decode the following message to find the cache:

Many thanks to Stewart A for bringing my attention to this location.

Sorry, I was't expecting to lay this cache when I did so I didn't have a Geocaching Note with me. I would therefore appreciate it if one of the next visitors placed one in the cache for me.
