A la fois un hommage aux combattants du feu, et une ballade sympa le long d'un petit ruisseau, loin de la foule du bord de mer
La Garonnette est un petit ruisseau situé entre Sainte-Maxime et Les Issambres.
Pour accèder au départ de la promenade prendre la route qui part du bord de mer direction Roquebrune sur Argens et prendre la 3ème rue à gauche juste dans un virage (chemin de la rivière), puis suivre la route jusqu'au bout en prenant toujours à gauche suivant les indications pour le Garage Charpentier.
Garez vous avant le garage et démarrez la promenade en partant sur la piste à droite du garage (ou ceux qui n'ont pas peur d'abimer leur voiture pourront se garer juste au delà du garage).
Juste un petit conseil histoire de ne pas partir du mauvais côté: ne PAS traverser le gué que vous verrez sur votre gauche après le garage.
Et c'est parti pour une ballade d'environ 15 minutes jusqu'à la première étape indiquée par les coordonnées GPS de la cache.
Une fois arrivé a cette étape, répondez aux questions suivantes: 1) Quel était l'age du combattant du feu qui a donné sa vie pour protéger nos belles forêts? Appellons ce nombre A.
2) Combien y a t'il de caractères en tout (lettres et chiffres, hors ponctuation)? Appellons ce nombre B.
C = A + 815
D = B + 778
Les coordonnées de la cache finale sont:

Une fois la cache trouvée vous pouvez grimper sur la rive droite et prendre cet autre chemin qui vous ramènera au gué proche du départ.

Both a tribute to our firefighters, and a nice little walk
along a small stream, away from the crowded seaside.
La Garonnette is a small stream located between Sainte-Maxime and Les Issambres.
To go to the start of the walk: take the road from the sea side going towards Roquebrune sur Argens and take the third street on your left just around a curve (Chemin de la Rivière), then follow the road until the end going left at the intersections following the directions for Garage Charpentier.
Park your car before the garage and start the walk taking the track on the right side of the Garage.
Just a little advice to avoid starting off in the wrong direction: Do NOT cross the ford that you see on your left after the Garage.
And here we go for a 20 minute walk until the first stage indicated by the GPS coordinates of the cache.
Once you've made it there, answer the following questions:
1) What was the age of the fire fighter who gave his life to protect our beautiful forest? Let's call this number A.
2) How many characters total are there (letters and numbers only, excluding punctuation)? Let's call this number B.
C = A + 815
D = B + 778
The final cache coordinates are:

One you found the final cache you can climb on the right bank and then take this different path to come back the ford next to the starting point.
