How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

The second of our “Geowalks“, this series of caches will take you on a 7km circular walk along the Artemis Trail.

Easily accessible and well maintained, the trail circles the Olympos mountain peak at an altitude of 1850m and provides stunning views in all directions.

Parking is available within a few metres of the first cache, and the entire route should take approximately 3 - 4 hours depending on fitness levels, amount of muggles, and number of ooh and ahh moments completed when admiring the beautiful views.

Gps reception is tricky in this area so we have provided no nonsense clues that should allow you to easily access the caches. The whole point of our geowalks is that you get to enjoy some walking in outstanding scenery, not to spend additional time searching for tricky concealments. Therefore, please make sure that you replace the caches in such a way that they are not easily identifiable by muggles - this is a popular walk and we don’t want to be replacing them every week!

You are looking for 60ml watertight screw top containers which are larger than film canisters so suitable for smaller travel bugs and geocoins.
