The cache is hidden in Ostrava on "Landek" hill above the junction
of Ostravice and Odra rivers.
The cache is hidden in Ostrava on "Landek" hill above the junction
of Ostravice and Odra rivers. On Landek you can find place where
lived primeval-man, the mammoth hunter, who was the first man on
the World using a black coal. In mediaeval age Landek was an
important establishment of Slovanien settlement, unfortunately the
castle which was situated in this area has been conquered and
destroyed in 13. century. Big changes started in this region in
1763 when on Landek was discovered black coal, succeded an
elemantal development of industry (especially metallurgy). In these
days all is gone. Industrial is in deep restructuralization and
mining of coal suggest only Minig Museum, which is situated on
Landek too. Seek it!
