Viikin koetilan peltojen ja Purolahden välissä on kaunis linnustolle tärkeä ruovikko. Lintujen ja lahden lisäksi kannattaa ihailla kulttuurihistoriallisesti arvokasta peltomaisemaa.
Oikein piilotettuna purkkia on vaikea nähdä. Vielä vaikeampaa saattaa olla sen saaminen esiin saamatta samalla tikkuja. Tikkuja tai ei, älä kuitenkaan jätä purkkia liian syvälle piiloonsa.
Touko-heinäkuussa täytyy varoa samassa rakennelmassa pesiviä lintuja!
