When I was a kid in the 80's, we used to hike out here and fish near this spot. It was pretty quiet and undisturbed. It's a bit more accessible these days now that they have paved walking trails around Beaver Lake.
You'll have to leave the paved road for the dirt trails that crisscross through the area. The cache isn't far off the dirt trail. It's on the south-east side of the lake which sees less traffic.
The cache is a small, camo container. It's about the size of two 35MM film tubes stacked on top of each other. It contains a log book and a pencil. Trinkets and toys won't fit. Small pins or coins perhaps.
