From Xmas Tree pop over the stile, cross the field with the
lovely duck pond (and possibly horses), over the stile, join the
track road down towards Newton Burgoland.
Burgo & Beans, a stroll of a little over 7 miles between Newton
Burgoland and Barton in the Beans. Uses public footpaths, including
part of the Leicestershire Round, and a stretch of the
Ashby-de-la-Zouche Canal towpath. Mostly gentle walking with no
steep inclines.
