[LAT] Rojas baznica pardzivojusi vairakas parvertibas gan
17. un 18. gadsimta, gan 1854. gada, kad koka baznicai uzcela
slaidu, augstu akmens mura torni, gan 1878. gada, kad ar Lubezeres
muižas ipašnieka Artura fon Hana (Arthur von Hahn) un
vina sievas Eiženijas (Eugenia) gadibu tornim piebuveja akmens
mura baznicu asketiski vienkaršas formas. Vesturiskajam
notikumam par godu pie galvenas ieejas (kreisaja puse) siena
iemureja granita plaksni ar tekstu un gadskaitli. Gadskaitli 1854,
1992 torni liecina par baznicas parbuvem. Pirmaja pasaules kara
torni sabombardeja, tas atjaunots 1992. gada tagadeja izskata.
Rojas baznicas - vienjoma garenbuve ar altargalu un masivu zvana
torni ar piramidalu noslegumu - rota ir altarglezna «Kristus un
Svetais Peteris uz ezera» (1890, M. Pols (M. Pols) kopija no R.
Rihtera (R. Rihters) originala). 1883. gada darinatas ergeles ir
Jekabpils ergelu buvetaja Martina Kreslina darbs.
[ENG] Roja Evangelical Lutheran Church. The Church of
Roja has changed several times not only in the 17th and 18th
centuries, and in 1854 when the wooden church got a new stone
bell-tower, but also in 1878 when Arthur von Hahn and his wife
Eugenia ordered to replace the old wooden wall of the church with a
new stone wall. In honour of this historical event, a tablet
indicating the year of the reconstruction was placed on the left
side of the main entrance. During the WWI, the bell-tower was badly
damaged and reconstructed in 1992, therefore, the numbers 1854 and
1992 (pointing the years of reconstructions) had been written on
the bell-tower.
