Bakgrund och information:
Jättegrytan invid Nolhaga berg benämns redan 1746 av Carl von Linné i sin västgötaresa då han besökte Alingsås och bekantade sig med bland annat Jonas Alströmers pipbruk som var anlagt vid berget där jättegrytan finns.
Grytan sitter på sidan av ett flyttblock (eller jättekast som man sa förr i tiden) och ligger vid foten av berget.

Facts and information:
The Giants kettle next to Nolhaga mountain were mentioned already in 1746 by Carolus Linnaeus in his Västgöta trip when he visited Alingsås and became acquainted with, among other things, Jonas Alströmer's clay pipe mill which was situated at the mountain where the giants kettle lies.
You'll find the kettle at the foot of the mountain, on the side of an erratic block (or "giants throw" as they were named in folk lore).
