Geocache Description:

Holy Trinity Church was built by Lord of the Manor, Nathaniel
Bridges, in 1866, and promoted the creation of the parish of
Wallington in 1867. The first vicar here was the Rev. John Williams
from 1867- 1879.

The cache is not at the above co-ordinates. You
will need to visit these and locate the commemorative bench to
decipher the final location- N51.A.BCD W000.0E.FGH

The dates on bench are represented by klmn - wxyz

A = position in alphabet of 2nd letter of christian name (eg. a is 1,b is 2 etc.)
B = w
C = number of E's in middle line
D = z times 2
E = y
F = number of words in first line minus 1
G = position in alphabet of first letter of top line
H = m times x

The cache itself is a bit longer and narrower than a 35mm film tub and has a hooking device attached to help keep secure and should be accessible by wheelchair users-however assistance from the church to final location may be required as pavements may be uneven or narrow and main roads to
cross.

If you recognise the original purpose of cache container
underneath all the tape please be assured that it is brand new and
has never been used ! The accuracy of the signal has been a bit
poor and i have averaged the final co-ordinates and provided a good
clue.

If anybody would like to expand this series please do, I would just ask that you could let sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication.

There is now a Church Micro statistics page which can be viewed via the bookmark list
