Geocache Description:

As the bicentennial of the Lewis and Clark Corps of Discovery expedition approaches, it seems like a great time to explore some of this history.

This monument will be very easy to locate. The area itself provides a magnificent view of the Missouri River basin. As you explore this site you will find numerous plaques to explain the history and the site. Be sure to locate the name of the man who was the president of the Floyd Memorial Association when the monument was erected. His middle name will be the password for the Certificate of Accomplishment and a short biography of Sergeant Floyd. While in the area be sure to visit the Sergeant Floyd Riverboat Museum. Enjoy and learn.

To claim credit for a find, VISIT the site and then, Email me the middle name of the man who was the president of the Floyd Memorial Association when the monument was erected. Please don't post it on the web site.
