Geocache Description:

This is a walk of about 6¼ miles around the Plummers Plain area, along which are hidden 20 traditional caches. They are mostly micros (no pencils) but there are 3 bigger caches for your swaps. Along the route you will also find GC1A439, GC1PR1J and GC1A43C, which also have room for swaps.

I apologize for the 3 sections of road walking, but I hope you will agree with me that they are worth it, because they link up some lovely footpaths. The first and busiest bit of road has a good pavement all the way. The second road is not so busy and has a wide verge most of the way. Along this stretch you will see an interesting and unusual little house that you might have seen somewhere else before! The third bit of road is a fairly quiet country lane.

Dogs are allowed, but will have to be kept on a lead for most of the walk, because you will be walking through areas with lots of game birds. Do not allow your dog to chase any pheasants or ducks.

There is room to park a few cars just to the north and the south of the crossroads, without using the Pub car park. Plummers Plain is on a bus route.

PLEASE DO NOT DRIVE ALONG ANY PRIVATE ROADS TO REACH ANY OF MY CACHES.
